Don't use taxpayers' money for party political purposes

Thanks to the many bloggers linking this site.

One blogger, Cllr Phil Briscoe, one of the Conservative councillors who have broken the Labour monopoly in Tower Hamlets writes on his blog:

"As a local councillor, we have very clear rules on using council resources for party political purposes - you don't! Using an envelope or a photocopier in the town hall for Conservative use would be a clear misuse of taxpayers money.

He continues:

"For me, this is a simple principle that is easy to understand - but it seems a little complicated for some MPs!"
